HPL are working with a reputable family-run holiday park operator who are looking for a Park Warden to join their team, at their beautiful park in Teignmouth.

 

Key Responsibilities

Park & Grounds Maintenance

• Carry out general groundskeeping duties to maintain the high visual and environmental standards expected of a five-star park
• Ensure outdoor areas, pathways, and communal spaces are safe, clean, and well-presented

 

Accommodation & Building Maintenance

• Maintain and repair park buildings, caravan and lodge accommodation
• Undertake general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Follow company procedure when maintenance issues reported by guests or staff

 

Health & Safety & Compliance

• Conduct regular health & safety checks across the park
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, checks, and maintenance activities

 

Swimming Pool & Leisure Facilities

• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and daily checks of swimming pool and leisure facilities
• Ensure facilities meet required safety, hygiene, and operational standards

 

Customer Service

• Act as a friendly and professional point of contact for guests
• Respond to guest queries or concerns promptly and courteously
• Uphold the high standards of customer service expected within a luxury holiday environment

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
  • Groundskeeping
  • Plumbing or general maintenance
  • Building maintenance
  • Caravan and lodge accommodation maintenance
  • Health & Safety compliance
  • Swimming pool or leisure facility management
• Pool Plant Qualification is desirable
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in high standards
• Friendly, approachable manner with a strong customer service ethos
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
