About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Travel Sales Consultant to join an exciting and fast-growing business at their Swindon branch.

 

You'll be responsible for understanding what each customer is looking for, recommending suitable holidays and destinations, and converting enquiries into bookings.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves travel, enjoys speaking to people and is motivated by achieving sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Understand customers' holiday requirements, preferences and budgets.
• Recommend suitable destinations, accommodation, flights, packages and experiences.
• Create personalised holiday itineraries and quotes.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Follow up with customers to maximise sales opportunities.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Upsell additional products and services including excursions, transfers, upgrades and travel extras.
• Maintain accurate customer and booking information.
• Stay up to date with destinations, travel products, promotions and industry trends.
• Provide excellent customer service before, during and after the booking process.
• Deal confidently with customer queries and resolve any issues professionally.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure bookings run smoothly.

About You

Previous experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Advisor, Holiday Sales Consultant, Travel Agent, Reservations Consultant or similar would be advantageous.
